The Joy emulator has been adapted for GameBaby, allowing you to play retro games with GameBaby more quickly. However, if you want to use GameBaby with the Delta emulator, that is also entirely possible.
Setting up the Emulator and Games
To play retro games on your iPhone using the GameBaby with Delta emulator, you need to complete the following three setup steps:
- Install the Delta game emulator.
- Import the game files (ROMs).
- Configure the GameBaby exclusive skin.
1. Installing the Delta Game Emulator
Users Outside the European Region
Search for the "Delta" app on the App Store and tap "Get" to start the download.

Users in the European Region
In the European region, Delta should be available for sideloading through AltStore:
- On your iOS device, open the Safari browser and visit the AltStore official website.
- Follow the instructions to download and install the AltStore app.
- Open AltStore, search for Delta, and tap Install.
Once the installation is complete, Delta will be ready to use on your device.
2. Downloading and Importing Game Files

Importing Game Files
Open the main screen of the Delta app and tap the "+" (plus) button in the top right corner.
After tapping the plus button, select "Files."
In the "Files" window that pops up, locate the game files you prepared earlier, select the files, and tap "Open" to complete the import.
3. Configuring the GAMEBABY Exclusive Skin
Please select the corresponding skin file based on your GameBaby model. Click to download the file below, the file will be automatically saved to your iPhone's Files app and in Downloads folder.
Please follow the steps below to import a skin file into Delta, using a GBA skin as an example.
1. Open Delta and tap the gear icon (⚙️) in the top left corner to open the Settings screen. In the CONTROLLER SKINS section, tap "Game Boy Advance" to enter the skin settings interface.
2. Tap the default skin under "PORTRAIT," then tap the "+" (plus) button in the top right corner. Find the GBA skin file you prepared (the file name should be GBA Skin for Transparent.deltaskin or GBA Skin for GameBaby Color&Retro.deltaskin) Select the file and tap "Open" in the top right corner to complete the import.
3. After importing, scroll down to the GAMEBABY skin and tap the newly installed skin.
4. Restart the game to complete the configuration.
Repeat steps 1-4 to install the skins for the GBC (Game Boy Color) and NES (Nintendo) emulators.
