GEARSHIFT

Put Your Phone in Drive.

GearShift
6-Speed Manual MagSafe Carbon Fiber
Concept

A 6-Speed Sequential Manual GearShift.
On the back of your phone.

GearShift snaps onto your phone via MagSafe. The carbon fiber shift knob sits on a real mechanical gear train with 6 detent positions. Each gear locks the lever at a different angle with a satisfying click you can feel in your fingertips.

Fold it down for Landscape, prop it up for Portrait. Grip it, and it's the most secure, natural phone hold you've ever felt.

Because some things shouldn't be automatic.

Three ways to drive.

Landscape

Landscape

Shift the lever down, prop your phone horizontal. Video calls, binge-watching, racing sims. Rock solid at any angle.

Landscape
Portrait

Upright for scrolling, reading, or FaceTime. The lever becomes a stable leg that holds the perfect viewing angle.

Grip

Grip

Slide your fingers around the lever. The most secure, natural phone hold. Shift through all 6 gears while you walk.

The Philosophy

They automated everything.
Even the fun.

There's a reason vinyl outsells CDs. A reason people pay more for a mechanical watch than a smartwatch. A reason the waiting list for a manual Porsche is twice as long as the PDK.

The things we love most demand effort. A physical input. A deliberate gesture. A moment of intention in a world of automation.

GearShift is that effort, six times over.

All for Puristic Driving Pleasure.

The Spec Sheet.

"Looking around, I did not see the car of my dreams. So I decided to build it myself."

Enzo Ferrari

The manual gearshift is disappearing. But the feeling it gave us doesn't have to. The weight of the knob. The resistance of the gate. The click as it locks into place. GearShift is a small act of defiance against a world that wants everything to be effortless. Because sometimes, effort is the whole point.
